The Sri Lankan Navy arrested four fishermen of Rameswaram and impounded their boat, between Dhanushkodi and Thalaimannar, on the night of Monday (April 13, 2026) on the charge of crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line.
Sources said the fishermen — S. Sekar, 66; T. Sakthivel, 54; S. Arunagiri, 54; and V. Paulraj, 55 — ventured into the sea in the boat owned by S. Gladstone from the Rameswaram fishing jetty on Monday.
