Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed the CRDA officials to speed up the Amaravati development works and complete them as per the given timelines and top priority to quality.

In a review meeting with officials of the A.P. Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) at his camp office on Friday, Mr. Naidu said the registration of returnable plots allotted to the farmers who had given their lands to Amaravati should be done immediately.

The officials told the Chief Minister that the registration of returnable plots were pending in respect of 2,471 farmers due to technical issues.

Mr. Naidu said he would meet the farmers of the capital region soon to know the problems faced by them, and instructed the officials to accord priority to greenery. He observed that the iconic structures and high-rise towers were essential to give a world-class look to Amaravati capital city.

Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister P. Narayana apprised the Chief Minister of the status of works and the steps taken to implement the project as per guidelines.

APCRDA Commissioner K. Kanna Babu, Amaravati Development Corporation CMD D.  Lakshmiparthasarathy Bhasker and other officials were present.
