Nine Indian space-tech companies which were part of the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) led delegation have signed multiple partnerships and collaboration at the recently held Space Meetings Veneto 2026 at Venice, Italy.

The Indian delegation also held strategic engagements with the Italian Space Industry Study Group to explore opportunities for deeper commercial and technological cooperation between the two countries.

IN-SPACe which is the single-window agency for all space sector activities of private entities said that the nine Indian space-tech companies, including Astrogate Labs, Astrobase Space Technologies, VyomIC, Suhora, Kepler Aerospace Ltd, Hyspace Technologies, TakeMe2Space, Jarbits Pvt Ltd and Dhruva Space, joined the delegation, with multiple partnerships and collaboration announcements emerging during the visit.

Key partnerships

Among the key developments, Karnataka-based Astrobase Space Technologies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Impulso Space to support customer access and explore launch opportunities through integrated mission management and launch service networks.

Kepler Aerospace signed a framework agreement with Apogeo Space to expand global Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) infrastructure and strengthen satellite collaboration between India and Europe. The partnership will further explore joint opportunities across CubeSat systems, payload technologies, satellite infrastructure and mission operations.

VyomIC showcased its technologies during the event and announced a strategic collaboration focused on building next-generation navigation and resilient infrastructure technologies.

India’s space capabilities

“India’s participation at Space Meetings Veneto reflects the growing global confidence in the country’s space capabilities and private sector ecosystem. More importantly, this year’s engagements translated into meaningful strategic partnerships between Indian and international space companies. The agreements signed by Astrobase Space Technologies, Kepler Aerospace and VyomIC highlight the increasing competitiveness and global readiness of Indian space enterprises. As India strengthens its position in the global space economy, IN-SPACe remains committed to enabling industry-led international collaborations,” said Dr. P.K. Jain, Director, Program Management and Authorization Directorate, IN-SPACe.

This visit follows the Italian Aerospace Delegation’s visit to India in 2025.

IN-SPACe said that aligning with the 2025–2029 India–Italy Joint Strategic Action Plan announced during the G20 Summit 2024, a bilateral meeting also took place that will result in strengthening strategic collaboration between the two countries.
