Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s memoir Belonging: A Journey of Love will be published and distributed by HarperCollins India from November 10. The publishing house says the book is a personal account of Ms. Gandhi’s life and offers an insider’ view of India’s political journey.

Publishing house Alfred A. Knopf is publishing it internationally on the same day.

The legal read, has become the subject of national discussion. Penguin Random House India announced on August 28, 2026 that it is not publishing Ms. Gandhi’s much-awaited autobiography, with industry sources saying that the publisher and author had differences regarding content related to her impressions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from official meetings, his handling of India-China ties, and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and its activities.

Here are a set of articles surrounding the controversies over Sonia Gandhi’s memoir.
