Sharnbasveshwar PU College students excel in KCET

Sharnbasveshwar Residential Composite PU College, Kalaburagi, has once again registered an impressive performance in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 with several of its students securing top ranks across multiple professional streams.

Leading the list of achievers is Channabasava K. who has secured the 27th State rank in B.Pharm, 31st rank in Agricultural Sciences, 126th rank in BNYS, 170th rank in Engineering, 391st rank in Veterinary Sciences and 392nd rank in Nursing.

His performance has brought laurels to the institution and continued its tradition of academic excellence.

Simran Banu also delivered an outstanding performance securing the 35th rank in BNYS, 74th rank in Agricultural Sciences, 92nd rank in Veterinary Sciences, 92nd rank in Nursing, 131st rank in B.Pharm and 559th rank in Engineering.

Among the other notable achievers, Arnav Nagalikar secured the 121st rank in BNYS, 124th rank in Veterinary Sciences, 125th rank in Nursing and 198th rank in Agricultural Sciences, while Harshvardhan Reddy and Venkatesh Kulkarni secured the 310th rank in Engineering.

The college also recorded a significant number of students securing ranks below 6,000 in various streams. A total of 50 students obtained ranks below 6,000 in Engineering, 121 in Agricultural Sciences, 95 in B.Pharm, 122 in BNYS, 133 in Veterinary Sciences and 128 in Nursing.

Congratulating the students, President of Sharnbasveshwar Vidyavardhak Sangha and Chancellor of Sharnbasava University Dakshayani S. Appa said that the achievements reflected the institution’s longstanding academic tradition.

She observed that such dedicated achievers not only make their parents proud but also serve as role models for future aspirants.

Secretary of Sharnbasveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha Basavaraj Deshmukh congratulated the rank holders and encouraged them to carry their excellence into future pursuits.

Principal N.S. Devarakal attributed the success to the collective efforts of students, faculty members and the institution’s management.

The management also extended its congratulations to all successful students and their families for the remarkable achievement in KCET 2026.
