Shankar Jiwal resigns as T.N. Fire Commission chief

Former DGP Shankar Jiwal resigned from the post of Chairman, Tamil Nadu Fire Commission, on Wednesday. 

According to official sources, Mr. Jiwal and three other members of the commission resigned citing personal reasons. 

The former DGP was the first Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Fire Commission constituted by the then DMK government.

The sources said former DGP Sunil Kumar sent in his resignation from the post of Chairman, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board. He earlier served as Member, Real Estate Regulatory Authority.
