Senior BJP leader H. Raja

Senior BJP leader H. Raja, who suffered a stroke, is now being treated at Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road, according to a bulletin from the hospital on Saturday.

After Mr. Raja had collapsed on the dais on Friday evening while he was attending an event, he was hurried to a hospital. Former Telangana Governor and a doctor Tamilisai Soundararajan, who was at the event, provided immediate assistance.

The bulletin noted that he is being closely monitored by a team of doctors and has been recovering well with supportive care. He is interacting with his family and friends.
