Security forces recover arms & ammunition from forest area near LoC in J&K’s Kupwara

Security forces on Wednesday (January 28, 2026) recovered arms and ammunition dumped by terrorists in a forest area near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.

The recoveries, which included four pistols, seven magazines, three AK magazines and 308 AK-47 rounds, were made during a search operation in the Rati Tari forest area of Karnah tehsil, they said.
