South Central Railway (SCR) has requested the Telangana government to earmark and provide around 1,125 acres of encumbrance-free land in four different locations for the development of mega coaching terminals.

According to senior railway officials, the four sites identified to ease congestion at existing terminals and to cater to future requirements include 250 acres at Dabilpur (near Medchal), 325 acres at Nagulapalli (near Shankarpally), 300 acres at Jukkal (near Kamareddy), and an additional 250 acres at the existing Cherlapally terminal station.
