School students form human chain for voters awareness campaign in Tiruvannamalai

Hundreds of school students formed a human chain in Vadanadapattu village that comes under Kilpennathur Assembly constituency in Tiruvannamalai district on Friday. This was to create awareness on 100% voter participation in Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, that will be held on April 23.

Election officials said that the District Election Officer (DEO) and Collector K. Tharpagaraj monitored the awareness drive in the village. Students, parents, teachers, residents in the village participated in the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign. They also took an oath to cast their vote in the upcoming polls.
