Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on December 18 launched the newly-implemented e-Khata scheme of the Municipal Administration Department at Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi, enabling citizens to obtain khata services from the comfort of their home.

At a programme organised by the Directorate of Municipal Administration and Belagavi City Corporation, appointment letters and house title deeds were symbolically distributed to poura karmikas, and the e-Khata handbook was released.

Urban Development and Town Planning Minister Byrathi Suresh said 6,119 beneficiaries have been identified under the Gruha Bhagya Scheme, with ₹326 crore released and 4,159 houses completed so far.
