Sanskrit varsity in Kochi reshuffles key posts, names new exam and IQAC heads

V. Lissy Mathew, Professor-in-Charge of Examinations at the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, has been relieved from the additional charge as part of a reshuffle initiated by the varsity authorities on Wednesday.

V.K. Bhavani, Associate Professor, Department of Sanskrit Nyaya, has been given the additional charge of Professor-in-Charge of Examinations. K.V. Ajith Kumar, Director of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), has been relieved from the additional charge. Sunitha Gopalakrishnan, Head of the Department of Hindi, has been given the additional charge of Director of IQAC, according to an official order.

Lancelet T.S., Professor of Geography, has been given the additional charge of IQAC co-ordinator and convener of the monitoring committee for the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

Sharmila. R, Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy, has been relieved from the charge of Director of Student Welfare department. Lisha C.R., Assistant Professor, Department of Sanskrit General, has been given the additional charge of Director of Student Welfare department. G. Narayanan, Head of the Department of Sanskrit Vedanta, has been given charge of NAAC co-ordinator. Sangamesan K.M., Professor of the Department of Sanskrit Sahitya, has been relieved from the additional charge of Director, Planning and Development. Jose Antony, Head of the Department of Social Work, has been given the additional charge of Director of Planning and Development, it said.

Sreekanth S., who was holding charge of private secretary to Vice-Chancellor, was relieved on Tuesday along with Shameer M.K., who was Senior Grade Assistant in the V-C’s office.
