New Delhi:

After a year’s gap, Salman Khan has locked Eid 2027 for his next film. Co-starring Nayanthara and helmed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film recently went on floors. The superstar took to social media and posted a video from the shoot diaries. The video also contains glimpses of Nayanthara gearing up for the shoot.

Don’t worry iss wali ka bhi bataenge, when the time is right…… Patience, thoda sa sabar…… Mere Jitna he intezar karna padega, Baherhaal jo apka haal hai wo hi mera bhi haal hai…. haha (sic).”

On March 31, 2026, the makers shared an edited photo of Salman and Nayanthara. “The Queen Arrives. The epitome of versatility and excellence #NAYANTHARA joins #SalmanKhanVamshiPaidipallyFilm. Salman Khan and his history of Eid releases

A Salman Khan release has rarely been just about a film – it feels like a full-blown event. And when it arrives on Eid, it becomes something bigger: a celebration that stretches across the country. Over the years, Salman has made the festive window his own, delivering crowd-pleasers that mix action, emotion, music and mass appeal. From Wanted and Dabangg to Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Bharat, his Eid run has set a benchmark few can match.

He was also the first Bollywood star to deliver 17 consecutive films crossing the Rs 100-crore mark, a streak that reshaped box office expectations. Add to that multiple Rs 200 crore hits and Rs 300 crore blockbusters like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan, and his track record speaks for itself.
