Salman Khan and his history of Eid releases
A Salman Khan release has rarely been just about a film – it feels like a full-blown event. And when it arrives on Eid, it becomes something bigger: a celebration that stretches across the country. Over the years, Salman has made the festive window his own, delivering crowd-pleasers that mix action, emotion, music and mass appeal. From Wanted and Dabangg to Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Bharat, his Eid run has set a benchmark few can match.
He was also the first Bollywood star to deliver 17 consecutive films crossing the Rs 100-crore mark, a streak that reshaped box office expectations. Add to that multiple Rs 200 crore hits and Rs 300 crore blockbusters like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan, and his track record speaks for itself.
