Customer relationship management software major Salesforce on Tuesday said it will equip one million learners across India with AI-focused skills by 2030.

It will collaborate with academic institutions, industry leaders and government agencies, President and CEO, Salesforce – South Asia Arundhati Bhattacharya said at a programme to mark the 10 years of the company’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) here. A virtual internship programme with AICTE to empower students with hands-on project experience will be one of the components.

“Our commitment to skill one million learners by 2030 reflects a firm belief that India’s workforce is not just ready for the AI economy [but also] ready to lead it. At Salesforce, we are committed to ensuring that potential does not go unrealised and that the next generation of technology leaders emerges from right here,” she said.
