The Railway Protection Force (RPF), Mysuru division, South Western Railway, will be conducting the second phase of the Annual Range Classification Target Practice at the Dodda Byadarahhalli Firing Range in Mandya district on Tuesday (November 25) between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.
In view of this exercise, the RPF has advised neighbouring villages against the movement of people and livestock in and around the firing range during the aforementioned day and timings, a press release from the division said.
“This precaution is necessary to ensure public safety and prevent any untoward incidents. The cooperation of local residents is appreciated,” it added.
