The Kerala Council for Historical Research (KCHR) will organise an international round table on the Cosmos Malabaricus project at Bolgatty here on January 16.

The event will bring together historians, diplomats, museum professionals, and cultural policymakers from India and the Netherlands to deliberate on shared histories, archival collaborations, and future directions in Indian Ocean and Malabar studies, according to a release.

The discussions aim to strengthen academic, cultural, and institutional cooperation between Kerala and the Netherlands, it said.

The Indian delegation includes K.N. Ganesh, Dinesan Vadakkiniyil, Michael Tharakan, Venu Rajamony, and Somy Solomon. The Dutch delegation comprises senior representatives from the Government of the Netherlands and cultural institutions including Dewi van der Weerd, Frerik Kampman, Martine Gosselink, Robert van Langh, and Annemiek Rens, the release added.
