The real estate sector in the State is gradually reviving, and this is the right time to buy immovable property in the State, says A.P. Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) chairman R. Siva Reddy.

Addressing the concluding ceremony of the 11th CREDAI property show in Vijayawada on Sunday, Mr. Siva Reddy said more investments were coming and this indicates that the construction sector is getting back on track.

Pointing out that the State government was extending support to the construction sector, Mr. Siva Reddy expressed hope that the new year would be favorable for the real estate and construction sectors.

Later, Andhra Pradesh CREDAI chapter general secretary Dasari Rambabu noted that when construction sector performs well, lakhs of people get employment, which in turn contributes to the development of the State and increased income.

Meanwhile, people queued up to take selfies outside the exhibit of a transparent dome house, resembling a igloo, made of polycarbonate sheet. These can be installed on terraces or in gardens, or used while camping, as outdoor lounges.

According to information from the marketing team, five such dome houses had been sold in the past two days. These have a window, curtains, an exhaust fan, air-conditioner, a bathroom attached, and a lock system as well.

They come in different sizes and shapes, and the price varies with the size, the team said. The exhibited one has a 18-ft diameter, accommodating a double cot, and is being sold at ₹6 lakh. Another unit accommodates a round table, with six chairs. It can be installed easily and is also easily movable.

According to the team, the existing structures are imported from China and would be made in Vijayawada from next month.
