“The revised land market rates will come into force from February 1, 2026,” district registrar Bhargav has said.

In a statement issued in Anantapur on Saturday (January 24, 2026), Mr. Bhargav said Andhra Pradesh Government had hiked the market values of agriculture, non-agriculture and residential land rates from February 1, 2026.

The market value of land in Anantapur Municipal Corporation, municipalities, Anantapur Urban limits and Anantapur-Hindupur Urban Development Authority (AHUDA) will increase and all transactions from February 1, 2026 will be done according to the revised rates.

“Those who want to register their lands with old challans should pay the balance amount at the time of registration,” he said and urged the general public and real estate dealers to take note of the change.
