To spread road safety awareness through the powerful medium of art, the Adilabad district police on Sunday organised a rangoli competition for women in Adilabad town.

The event was held as part of the ‘Arrive – Alive’, a campaign for safer roads in Telangana, a press release said.

The participants drew intricate rangoli designs spreading the message of safe driving and strict adherence to road safety rules, including helmet rule among motorists.

Adilabad MLA Payal Shankar, Collector Rajarshi Shah, Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan and others were present.
