Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala has said that the party “high command will take a final decision” on who will become the Chief Minister in the wake of the United Democratic Front (UDF) winning majority in Kerala.

“I request all to refrain from making unnecessary controversies over the Chief Minister post. The Congress party has a procedure of its own for the selection of Chief Minister and the final word will be that of the high command,” he told mediapersons in Aluva on Thursday. “Everyone will accept the high command’s decision. There is no doubt about it,” he said.
