With PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss finalising his alliance with the AIADMK-led National Democratic Alliance, S. Ramadoss, his estranged father, is yet to strike a deal as he continues to hold negotiations in the background.

Speaking to the reporters on Saturday, Dr. Ramadoss said that he has not finalised the alliance yet.

“We spoke, we are speaking and we will speak,” he said in a cryptic manner to a question on which alliance he will be a part of.

Sources close to Dr. Ramadoss said that the decision over the alliance will be made once favourable terms are offered, but they also admitted that getting the same number of seats as Dr. Anbumani looks unlikely at this point in time.
