Mr. Nitish gave a month’s deadline to officials to submit a detailed report to the regional commissioner on atrocities against SCs and STs.

The DC directed officials to create awareness about the cash benefit of ₹3 lakh to construct a house in an identified residential areas on the outskirts of Raichur city.

He specifically directed officials to construct a compound wall surrounding graveyards to protect them from encroachments when the issue was raised by members.

The Deputy Commissioner warned of legal action against those who obtain fake caste certificates to get government jobs.

Superintendent of Police G. Puttamadaiah, Corporation Commissioner Jubin Mohapatra, IAS (Probationary) Officer Pururaj Singh, Ravindra Jaldar, K.E. Kumar, Hemraj Askihal, Ravikumar Askihal, Raghuveer Naik, Pawan Kishor Patil, Basavaraj, T. Sudhama and others were present.
