Property offender nabbed in Kurnool

Police have arrested a property offender and recovered nine tola gold and 55 tola silver ornaments, and ₹one lakh cash from him.

According to Kurnool Deputy Superintendent of Police Babu Prasad, police have arrested Girni Venkatesh of Timmanna Timmam Doddi villag of C. Belagal mandal and recovered the stolen gold, silver and cash. He said they would investigate if Venkatesh was involved in any other offences. He said the fingerprints of the arrested accused will be verified with the data to ascertain if he had any previous criminal background.
