Prakasam district Collector P. Raja Babu, after conducting a ‘Palle Nidra’ (village night stay) programme at Pothavaram village in Darsi mandal under Addanki division, has directed Revenue Divisional Officers (RDOs), Tahsildars and mandal-level officers to adopt the initiative in their jurisdictions to resolve local issues.

He said, “Palle Nidra is not merely a field visit. It is a governance tool to understand ground realities, bridge gaps in service delivery, and make informed decisions. Direct engagement leads to better identification of problems and quicker resolution. It reflects trust between the administration and the people.”
