Krishna district police probing into the child kidnap and selling racket case busted on April 17, suspect that the gang was involved in more cases. The police are investigating if they had other links with accused involved in similar cases, their finances, contacts with staff at private and government hospitals, maternity homes, among other details.
“We rescued the baby boy. Police are probing into the network of the gang and the role of auto driver in the racket. Movements of accused arrested earlier in baby selling rackets are also being monitored,” said Krishna district Superintendent of Police V. Vidyasagar Naidu.
