As part of the continuing crackdown on drug traffickers, the anti-narcotics squad in Kozhikode district has gathered details of more local drug pushers reportedly linked to inter-State traffickers arrested in several recent cases. Police sources said the newly obtained evidence, including call detail records and social media data, is expected to help uncover covert networks involved in the illegal synthetic drug trade.

Most of the newly identified suspects are believed to be directly connected to around 10 individuals arrested in five major drug trafficking cases over the past five months. The total quantity of MDMA seized in these cases exceeds 4.5 kg, including a major haul of 2.8 kg recovered by the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force from Mukkom.
