The Central government has allocated ₹3,320 crore towards revised cost for completion of the Polavaram Irrigation Project with water storage up to elevation level of 41.15 metres i.e. minimum draw down level in Union Budget 2026-27.

Apart from that, a sum of ₹500.99 crore has been allocated for the A.P. Rural Roads Project and ₹432.09 crore for Amaravati Integrated Urban Development Program through International Bank for Reconstruction & Development.
The AP Roads & Bridges Reconstruction Project got ₹350 crore and AP Climate Resilient Zero Budget Natural Farming Project ₹155.32 crore.
