Former Chief Minister and AIADMK Supremo Jayalalithaa did not want the BJP to gain a foothold in Tamil Nadu and prevented it. However, the current AIADMK has deviated from this path, said VCK president Thol. Thirumavalavan, on Wednesday.

Addressing an election campaign canvassing votes for DMK candidate I.P. Senthilkumar who is contesting from Dindigul Assembly constituency, Mr. Thirumavalavan said the DMK-led alliance was ideologically strong.
