PD Act invoked against two bootleggers

District Collector Dr. A. Siri on Sunday (May 3, 2026) issues Preventive Detention orders against two habitual Illicitly Distilled (ID) liquor offenders from the district. The Collector invoked the provisions under Section 3 (1) of the Andhra Pradesh Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Bandits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Encroachers Act, 1986 against the bootleggers.

The two accused were identified as Satupati Krishna of Maddikera Village under Pathikonda Excise Station limits and Telugu Ramadasu of Kollampalli Thanda in Kallur mandal under Kurnool Excise Station.
