Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has sanctioned ₹6 crore for seven-kilometre-long road along the bank of river Godavari to provide road connectivity to Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Vadapalli with national highway 216 in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district.

At present, thousands of devotees from across South India visit the temple, particularly on Saturday. In a meeting with Mr. Pawan Kalyan on Thursday, Kothapeta MLA Bandaru Satyananda Rao appealed for the grant for the road connectivity to Vadapalli temple.
