A day after the blast near Red Fort in New Delhi, Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) issued a security advisory for passengers. The airport, through a post on X on Tuesday (November 11, 2025), informed passengers that enhanced security measures are currently in place which includes checks and frisking on the road leading to the airport in Shamshabad.

According to the advisory, travellers may experience longer waiting times at security checkpoints. Passengers were urged to reach the airport earlier than usual to accommodate additional screening procedures. The airport also requested travellers to cooperate with security personnel to ensure that all processes remain smooth and efficient. “Please check with your airlines for the latest flight information status,” as per the advisory.
