Palaniswami should be taught a fitting lesson: Panneerselvam

Former Chief Minister and coordinator of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Workers’ Rights Retrieval Kazhagam O. Panneerselvam on Wednesday said AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami should be taught a “fitting lesson”. Addressing a meeting of his followers in Chennai, Mr. Panneerselvam said the AIADMK had been experiencing one electoral setback after another after Mr. Palaniswami became the party’s general secretary on the ground that only “unitary leadership” would take the party to greater heights. “Now, members of the party are frustrated and remain rudderless,” he said, addingthat there would be “good tidings” after the month of Thai begins (mid-January 2026).
