Over 1,000 motorists booked for drunk driving across tri-commissionerate limits

More than 1,000 motorists were booked for drunk driving during special enforcement drives conducted over the weekend by Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri traffic police as part of intensified efforts to improve road safety.

Hyderabad Traffic Police booked 445 motorists during a two-day special drive conducted on May 1 and May 2. Of those booked, 371 were two-wheeler riders, 26 were three-wheeler drivers and 48 were driving four-wheelers and other vehicles.
