Students of various educational institutions, members of the Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, NGOs and police took out a candle rally as part of ‘Operation Trishul’ in Mylavaram in NTR district on Thursday (October 8, 2026).

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rural) Lakshmi Narayana, Mylavaram Assistant Commissioner of Police P. Ramachandra Rao, Circle Inspector K. Kishore Babu and other officers participated in the rally and explained the ill-effects of drugs and the dangers of rash and negligent driving. The students raised slogans against drugs.

Police officers from G. Konduru and Reddigudem and students of Lakkireddy Balreddy College of Engineering and other institutions also participated in the programme.
