The Additional Chief Secretary of the Urban Development Department Tushar Giri Nath has set a 15-day deadline for completing the remaining work on the Hosakerehalli Junction flyover.

He directed contractors to expedite the construction to ensure timely completion.

The 500-metre-long flyover, located near P.E.S. College on the Outer Ring Road in the R.R. Nagar ward of West Bengaluru City Corporation, is nearing completion.

Officials of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) said that wet-mix has been laid on both down-ramps, but asphalt paving is still pending, and the work got delayed due to recent rains.

GBA Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao instructed contractors to repair damaged portions of the service roads on both sides of the flyover without delay. Once construction is complete, authorities will clear all debris and waste from the service roads and beneath the flyover to ensure proper cleanliness and safety.
