The West Zone Police registered a case against former Minister and YSR Congress party leader, Jogi Ramesh, for allegedly taking out a rally, gathering the public and disrupting the duties of the police, during former Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy’s tour to Ibrahimpatnam in NTR district, on Friday (February 6, 2026).

Based on the complaint, lodged by SI Ravi Varma alleging that Mr. Ramesh organised a bike rally, disrupted the police from discharging their duties, created traffic congestions and caused inconvenience to the public, the Ibrahimpatnam police registered a case against the former Minister on Saturday (February 7, 2026).

Will explore all legal avenues to expose ‘Jungle Raj’ in Andhra Pradesh, says Jagan Mohan Reddy

Case has been registered against the YSRC leader under Section 132 (disrupting a government official from discharging his duties), Section 190 (unlawful assembly), Section 292 (causing public nuisance) and other charges of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).

Former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and other YSRC leaders visited Mr. Ramesh’s house, which was allegedly attacked and burnt by the Telugu Desam Party activists.
