NTR Police invoke PD Act against rice smuggler

The NTR Commissionerate invoked the Preventive Detention (PD) Act against alleged PDS rice smuggler Khaja Satyanarayana. The accused was arrested and sent to Rajamahendravaram Central Prison on Sunday (March 8), the police said. A native of Jayanthi village in Veerulapadu mandal in NTR District, Satyanarayana, was involved in 41 cases in NTR, East and West Godavari districts, police said.
