The sheer complacency on the part of the Union government and the National Testing Agency (NTA) resulted in the cancellation of the NEET-UG exam in the wake of paper leak allegations, the Fraternity Movement has said.
It said that more than 22 lakh aspirants had prepared for years for the NEET-UG exam that had been cancelled. In 2024 too, the NEET exam was marred by discrepancies. A repeat of the same two years later has put a question mark on the trust in the examination process. The conduct of the examination, preparation of question paper and the alleged leak should be investigated thoroughly and those behind it should be punished, the Fraternity Movement added.
The apprehensions of students must also be addressed, Fraternity State president Naeem Gafoor said.
