Former Rajya Sabha member Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad has said that the North Andhra region is set to emerge as a major economic hub with the growth of information technology, software, aviation and allied sectors. He said students from the region would have a bright future in view of the rapid and sustained development taking place.
Mr. Lakshmi Prasad, along with Avanthi Group chairman Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao, attended the closing ceremony of the GYAN-2K25 tech-fest as chief guest on Saturday. He appreciated the students for presenting innovative projects during the tech-fest and advised them to pursue further research in their chosen areas.
JNTU-GV Professor and Head of the Department of ECE K. Chandra Bhusana Rao and Head of Enterprise Architecture, Tata Consultancy Services, P. Ramaraju, spoke on the career opportunities available to budding engineers in various fields. Later, Mr. Lakshmi Prasad and the other guests distributed prizes to the winners of the competitions.
