On the second day of ‘Bihar Adhikar Yatra’ led by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), its leader Tejashwi Yadav said that the people of Bihar decided to form the government of Mahagathbandhan.

He also asserted if voted to power, no person having a degree will remain unemployed and providing a job to every degree holder would be the top priority of his government.

The former Deputy Chief Minister, while addressing a public meeting in Barh Assembly constituency, said that every hand would have a work to do.

“Providing employment to everyone will be my job. Believe it or not… I ensure to implement it and I have done this during the 17-month tenure,” Mr. Yadav said in Barh.

He added, “My hair has not turned grey, and I am not 75-76 years old like Modi ji. Will it help me if I lie? I have long innings to play in politics. Give me a chance for five years; I will show how Tejashwi eliminates unemployment forever.”

Before leaving Patna, the Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly, while speaking to the media, said that wherever he was going thousands of people were coming out on the streets to support his yatra.

In Bihar Adhikar Yatra, he is going to those districts which were not touched during Voter Adhikar Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

He claimed that the entire population of Bihar is angry with the current government as corruption and crime has increased so much that people don’t feel safe even in their own house.

When he reached Bakhtiyarpur, RJD MLA Aniruddha Yadav presented him with a gold crown. A cultural programme was organised before his arrival and dancers were called in to draw the crowd.

During the Yatra, many supporters painted their entire body in green. The supporters showered flowers from a JCB. En route he was welcomed with a silver crown. When he reached Mokama, the stronghold of Janata Dal-(United) leader Anant Singh, he rode a horse.

Accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Yadav and other MLAs, Mr. Yadav termed NDA (National Democratic Alliance) as Nahi Diya Adhikar (Not Given Rights).

“In 20 years, they have not given Biharis the right to jobs, employment, education, health, industry, basic facilities, and services. Now the public has awakened and is demanding its rights by bringing a change in power,”Mr. Yadav said in Barh.

He pointed out that Bihar CM does not have his own visions and whatever, he has promised to give if voted power, Nitish Kumar doing it like increasing the pension, implementing domicile, giving free electricity and financial assistance to women.

Attacking Bihar CM, Mr. Yadav said, “He is not a Chief Minister but a ‘Cheat Minister’. He came to us with folded hands to save his party when BJP was breaking it but ditched us twice. However, at present he is not in his senses and does not even know what is happening around him. Only a few people are running the government.”

In the Teghra Assembly seat of Begusarai district, he distributed thousands of ballpoint pens among the supporters who had gathered to listen to him.
