NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Cuddalore district administration for implementation of key infrastructure development projects under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

According to a press note, the MoUs were exchanged with the district administration and District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) in the presence of Cuddalore Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar and D.V.S. Narayana Murthy, Executive Director (Corporate Legal and CSR) NLCIL.

Under the agreement, NLCIL will provide ₹20 crore for development of essential infrastructural facilities and improving skills across identified sectors, including healthcare, education, drinking water, sanitation and other community welfare projects, in line with its core objectives and national sustainable development priorities.

The proposed projects would address the needs of the local population and contributed to long-term socio-economic growth in Cuddalore district.
