Nemom Victory VHSS wins first prize in Kerala Secretariat Association quiz

A.S. Anoop and A.A. Abhinav of Victory Vocational Higher Secondary School, Nemom, stood first in the ‘Charitrathinoppam Nadakkaam – Indian National Congress’ quiz organised by the Kerala Secretariat Association. The Statewide contest was held in connection with the association’s diamond jubilee. The first prize carries a cash prize of ₹20,000. Easwar M. Vinayan of SH Upper Primary School, Chullimanoor, is the first runner-up and A.R. Meenakshi and Ayana Ajeesh of Ayyankoyikkal Government Higher Secondary School, the second runners-up. The second and third prizes carry ₹15,000 and ₹10,000 respectively. Congress leader and former Minister V.S. Sivakumar inaugurated the quiz held in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday. B.S. Aravind was the quiz master. C.R. Mahesh, MLA, gave away the prizes to the winners. Kerala Secretariat Association president M.S. Ershad presided.
