Nellore ZP approves budget for FY26-27

Nellore Zilla Parishad Chairperson Anam Arunamma announced that the members have unanimously approved the financial year (FY) 2026-2027 annual budget estimates and FY 2025-2026 revised budget estimates.

Kavali MLA D.V. Krishna Reddy, Sullurpeta MLA Nelavala Vijayasri, Joint Collector Mogili Venkateshwarlu, Zilla Parishad CEO Sridhar Reddy, ZPTCs and MPPs participated in the general body meeting on Saturday.

The budget estimates for FY 2026-27, by including the income and expenditure items, have been prepared by taking ₹61.07 crore as income and ₹61.07 crore as expenditure. A surplus budget estimate of ₹52,104 was prepared. These were approved by the members.

Similarly, in the revised estimates for FY 2025-26, ₹76.45 crore was shown as income and ₹71.98 crore as expenditure. The Chairperson said the officials of the respective departments should take immediate steps to resolve all the issues raised by the members.
