Congress has announced Naveen Yadav as its candidate for the Jubilee Hills bypoll on Wednesday night.

Naveen Yadav contested as MLA twice from Jubille Hills, once as the AIMIM candidate in 2014, and as an independent in 2018. He joined the Congress in 2023. It was foregone conclusion that a Backward classes candidate would be given the opportunity by the Congress and he was the frontrunner.
