Mysuru City Corporation signs MoU under ‘Swachh Shehar Jodi’

Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Raichur City Corporation and Maski Town Panchayat under the Swachh Shehar Jodi initiative, where Mysuru will play the role of the Mentor City.

The MoU signing was held in the presence of Shaik Tanveer Asif, Commissioner, Mysuru City Corporation, Dr. Venkatesh N.P., Chief Health Officer, MCC, Mruthyunjaya K.S., Assistant Executive Engineer (Environment), MCC, Mallikarjun, Zonal Commissioner, Raichur City Corporation, and Narasu Reddy, Chief Officer, Maski Town Panchayat.

During the meeting, the Commissioner advised officials of all three Urban Local Bodies to maintain close coordination and share best practices to improve overall sanitation performance and ensure better Swachh Survekshan rankings for all cities in the current year.

The initiative aims to strengthen inter-city collaboration, capacity building, and implementation of best practices in solid waste management and cleanliness initiatives.
