More than 700 guests attend Sri Lanka Food Festival 2026

More than 700 guests attended a three-day Sri Lanka Food Festival 2026 held at Green Meadows Resort in Chennai recently. An expert culinary team led by distinguished chefs from Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo, participated. The festival was organised by the Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka, Ganesanathan Geathiswaran. It provided a unique platform to showcase the diverse culinary heritage of Sri Lanka, offering guests a taste of traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. The primary objective was to strengthen the cultural ties between Sri Lanka and South India, while promoting tourism, trade, and people-to-people connections, a release said.
