MLA hands over ₹35 lakh for development of municipal school at Krishnalanka

Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Rama Mohan handed over ₹35 lakh for the development of Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu Municipal Corporation High School at Krishnalanka, here on Monday. The money was donated by Shriram Finance Company, under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the MLA said.

Shriram Finance Company managing director Y.S. Chakravarthy said the amount would be utilised for developing playground and other infrastructure in the school which accomodates primary and high schools and a junior college.

Mr. Rama Mohan, along with the company MD, spokesperson Nagendra, Shriram Finance representatives M. Venkateswara Rao, E. Nagendram, B. Gopal, Satish and others handed over the cheque to the District Collector.
