A three-and-a-half-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Gujarat’s Surat city, police said on Friday (April 24, 2026). The suspect was later arrested.
The crime took place on Thursday (April 23), according to the police. The suspect, Sheikh Ahmed (name changed), allegedly assaulted the young girl, who resides with her family. Police said the girl had stepped out of her home to use the bathroom when Ahmed caught her and committed the sexual assault.
