Minister of Roads and Buildings B.C. Janardhan Reddy on Friday (12 September, 2025) sharply criticised officials regarding the unsanitary conditions throughout Banaganapalle town.

During a whirlwind tour of the town, the Minister found various streets littered with garbage. He directed the officials to ensure that the streets are kept clean to avoid any possible spread of viral fevers and other seasonal diseases in view of the rains.

He asked officials to complete the development works swiftly and inspected some ongoing works in the town. He asked officials to prepare plans for the construction of an anganwadi building in Peddapeerla Chavidi.

The Minister inspected the ongoing CC roads and drain works being taken up with ₹75 lakh in Peddapeerla Chavidi and also free mineral water plant at Karimuddin street.

During his visit to the Village Secretariat-2 in the town, Mr. Reddy asked officials to remove the bushes surroundings the building and maintain cleanliness.
