In a gesture aimed at supporting economically disadvantaged students, State Health Minister and Dharmavaram MLA Satyakumar Yadav on Friday (December 05) paid the public examination fee for 2,087 Class X students studying in 41 government schools across Bukkapatnam, Dharmavaram, Mudigubba and Tadimarri mandals of Sri Sathya Sai district.

The Education department officials confirmed the gesture. Each student is required to pay ₹125 towards the SSC public exam fee. The Minister contributed a total of ₹2,60,875 through the District Education Officer, who issued instructions to the respective school headmasters after confirming the payments.

Of the beneficiaries, 1,096 are girl students. Residents of the constituency welcomed the Minister’s initiative, describing it as a motivational gesture for students preparing for their upcoming board examinations.
